Heat Pump Sizing

When installing a heat pump, as a rough guide, allow approximately 120 Watts per square meter of the room being heated / cooled (based on 2.4 meter ceiling height). Example: 6m x 4m lounge = 24 sq.m x 120W = 2.880 kW. There are a number of factors that need to be taken into consideration which can affect the requirement however, like north / south aspect, size and number of windows, appliances, number of people to be using the room, insulation material, window coverings....etc. We offer a free quoting / sizing service off plans or on site, please call us for details on heat pump installation.
